one must decide!!!
working progress! so this is going toward something I promise, hopefully i’ll get it printed in the next couple of months, but yeah u’ll see what it going toward then! I hope u like the progress. I still want to experiment with colour, make the design just alittle darker in areas, to make the orange stand out, then some hand drawn typography and it shall be finished :)
fresh out of uni, wasn’t completely sure in what direction I wanted to take myself. Someone told me I should start something of my own. I felt motivated to do that, and came up with this design, it was going to apart of a PDF design I would send out to clients to catch their attention. Still not finished though, I may go in a different direction but it something I wanted to share with you all
So I posted this image a couple of weeks ago and I didn’t really complete it, I added text to the image. If you look at the previous post I’ve used the same words ‘Fight until you make it’. I think I might do a set of design based around this phrase and maybe keep it a basketball theme too.
one of the latest designs I’m working on, I want to start selling my work and this is something that I at first felt like some to produce for my collection. I’m still un sure if I will sell this, I still want to improve on my skills but here just a development of what it looks like at the moment.
hope you guys like it
Esteems is a afro hair and beauty company and they asked me to design some flyers and little slip to pass out to students in uni. My aim was to focus on colour, the company colours are purple and white, two colours that you’ll remember the company.
The first real project I worked on after uni, a single cover for a band my friend promote for. I was so excited about doing something like this, I mean I always do illustrated design but this was the first real thing that would get my work out there. I tried to be as professional as possible and tried my hardest to keep the deadline. The band really loved the design and I got a positive response from my friends.
The D&Ad diesel project I worked on, I would say this is my best piece of work, only because I had 3 other project to focus on and a dissertation but heres the outcomes from the project.
I had to draw two illustration for two different songs of my choice. I chose two tracks from fall out boy’s album infinity on high and after much research I developed a design based around a spiderman comic and incredible hulk movie poster. The design were a way of telling a story (just like what music does to us) it tell a story of our own, we create our own meaning to a song
